Description
Desert Globemallow is a hardy, multibranched perennial with orange-red-apricot cup-shaped flowers in the late spring. Silvery gray to green 3-lobed leaves to 3′ tall. Native to the Southwest US and perfect for challenging hot, dry full-sun settings in just about any soil type, including clay! Commonly used as an ornamental plant in “dry” gardens. Can become invasive with extra irrigation. Tolerates pruning to maintain a tidy appearance.
