Description

This large, thorny, sprawling shrub typically grows 4-8′ tall with an equal spread, blooming pink late spring through early summer. It is virtually maintenance free, tolerating poor soil, drought, and partial shade. Quite a “hip” producer – persisting in to winter; commonly used in tea, jam and jelly, with medicinal properties as well.
