Description
This 2-4′ perennial is very attractive to bees, hummingbirds and butterflies. It is an especially important food source for the Monarch caterpillars. Pink to purple cluster flowers atop the tall stems with seed pods persisting into fall and winter. Does well in sun to part shade, and likes water. Tolerates poor soil conditions and even mucky clay soil.
