Description
This one is unique for a couple of reasons… #1, it is likely to be found in moist places! #2, it is semi-evergreen, with the foliage turning a red or purple color in the winter. #3, it is found naturally both east and west of the Cascades. The blooms can be a combo of deep blue to purple to pink, and 12-24″ tall, with a 10-12″ spread. Wasps, bees, moths, butterflies and hummers all love this Penstemon that grows well amongst Columbines, Oregon Iris, Native Alliums and Pearly Everlasting.
